About me

Minah Headshot-1.jpg

Born and raised in Arkansas as the daughter of an architect and a fashion designer, my creative calling naturally found its home right where those two worlds collided: theatre.

What began as an eager dive into local community theatre during high school quickly evolved into a passion for technical production and costume design.

I went on to study Theatrical Design and Production on a talent scholarship at Oklahoma City University before stepping directly into the field to gain hands-on professional experience.

Over the past several years, I have collaborated with dozens of theatre companies across the country, serving as a resident designer, draper, stitcher, and freelance artist. My work spans everything from regional stage productions to bespoke commission work—including drag performance garments, high-end bridal alterations, Renaissance Faire attire, and custom wearable art.

Most recently, I served as the Resident Designer at OFC Creations Theatre in Rochester, NY, and as a Draper/Stitcher at the University of Arkansas.

Driven by a dedication to continuous growth, I returned to complete my degree at the University of Arkansas and will graduate this spring with a BA in Theatrical Design and Production, before pursuing my MFA.

My design aesthetic is deeply rooted in the whimsical, the weird, and the otherworldly. With a keen eye for vibrant color, rich texture, and intricate detail, I strive to create immersive pieces—and bring hands-on depth to others' visions—that pull the viewer into an entirely new world.
